Privacy Policy
Barnabas Workspace Connector (“the Connector”) is a private, single-user integration operated for the account owner. This policy explains how the Connector accesses, uses, stores, and shares information received through Google APIs.
Google user data accessed
When explicitly authorized, the Connector may access:
- Gmail: messages, message metadata, labels, and the ability to send or modify mail.
- Google Calendar: calendars and events, including the ability to create, update, or delete events when directed.
- Google Drive: files, folders, and file metadata, including files shared with the authorized account.
- Google Contacts: names, email addresses, and other authorized contact details.
- Google Docs and Sheets: document and spreadsheet content and metadata, including owner-directed creation or modification.
How Google user data is used
Google user data is used only to provide or improve owner-facing features requested by the authorized account owner. Examples include searching or summarizing authorized content, preparing calendar briefings, organizing files, drafting or sending owner-approved messages, and creating or updating owner-directed documents and spreadsheets.
The Connector does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, build advertising profiles, or use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
AI-assisted processing and disclosure
When needed to fulfill an owner request, selected Google user data may be processed by the AI service providers configured by the owner. Such processing is limited to providing the requested feature. Data may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of the Connector. Google user data is not otherwise shared with third parties.
Storage and retention
OAuth credentials are stored on the owner-controlled, self-hosted system used to operate the Connector. Google user data may be retained in owner-controlled files, reports, logs, backups, or knowledge-management systems only as needed for owner-requested workflows. Retention is determined by the owner’s instructions and operational needs. Access tokens remain stored until revoked, replaced, or deleted.
Security
The Connector uses reasonable technical and administrative safeguards appropriate for a private, self-hosted integration, including access controls, restricted host access, and protected credential storage. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Owner control and deletion
The authorized account owner may revoke the Connector’s Google access at any time through Google Account security settings. The owner may request deletion of locally retained Google user data or OAuth credentials by contacting barnabas.hermes.agent@gmail.com.
Limited Use disclosure
Barnabas Workspace Connector’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the Connector’s authorized functionality changes. The “Last updated” date will identify the latest revision.
